Cationic Yellow 40 is a synthetic dye with cationic properties. Its chemical name is Basic Yellow 40. It is a quaternary ammonium dye and exists in the form of yellow powder. It is mainly used for dyeing acrylic and its blended fabrics.

Cationic Yellow 40 adopts a 600% high concentration standard, with strong dye activity. Its molecular structure contains highly conjugated aromatic amines and carboxyl structures, which enable it to achieve high coverage and color development efficiency in substrates such as textiles and plastics. Compared with conventional 200% concentration cationic yellow, the required addition amount can be reduced by 60%-70%.

Its molecular formula C20H20ClN3O2 is consistent with the typical cationic structure, with strong affinity, and can be stably adsorbed on the surface of substrates containing anionic groups. It is widely used in textile, leather, paper, ink, plastic and mosquito coil industries.

Utmärkt stabilitet
The product has good thermal stability at high temperature, with a melting point of 210-211℃, and is suitable for hot melt dyeing and high-temperature plastic processing. Its chemical structure determines that the dye solution remains uniform under acidic conditions (pH 2-5), is not easy to decompose and precipitate, and avoids color difference problems.
